As a contribution to the “European Year of Volunteering“, Citizens of Europe will realise ‘v11’. The project will combine intensive debates on volunteering, motivations behind it and traditions existing in Europe with a European exchange of ideas and experience. It will result in the “European Days of Volunteering”, which Citizens of Europe will realise in the southwestern German town of Landau in der Pfalzon 5 – 8 May 2011 in cooperation with the local university and the local chapter of ‘Europa Union‘. On 24-26 of October, active members of Citizens of Europe and representatives of European partner organisations discussed shape and content of the project and explored Landau.
